ended my work at 12pm, and quicky rushed home to get my barang barang. my father sent my mother and me off to Golden Mile Complex. and we boarded the Grassland Express travel bus which set off at 2.30pm. yes, just my mother and me went back only.

we reached Yong Peng at 5.10pm, and my mother estimated the time wrongly. haha. she told my aunt that we will reached at around 6.30pm. but then, we reached Puduraya at 8.30pm.

ohh. poor aunt and uncle. both of them have been waiting since 5 plus. they sat down there and waited for us for 3 hours plus =X hahaha.

and then, my uncle drove us to my aunt house at Sunway, which is filled with so many people. i'm not that familiar with my Malaysian relatives (because i seldom went back =X LOL), anyway my cousin recognised me. she said that i used to be so boyish back then (8 years ago?) hahaha.

was super tired after the long bus ride. went to bath and then sweet dream =D

Day 2 - 19th December 2009, Saturday

went for morning jog at the nearby park at around 6am *yawns*!

after bathing and changing, my uncle drove us to have breakfast and also my mother and her sister love will never forget about betting 4D. oh ya, in Malaysia the called it 3D+1. haha.

well, people in the past tend to have alot of children. that explains why we have such big gathering during Chinese New Year. my mother has 8 elder sisters. and my father has 3 brothers and 7 sisters OH MY GOD =S

walked around the Sunway Shopping mall before going back home. rest for awhile and then my cousin and 6th aunt came. my 6th aunt was staying over as we will be heading to Genting the next day.

yea, they left at around 11pm. and then the small room is squeezed with 5 people sleeping inside. haha.

Day 3 - 20th December 2009, Sunday

ohhh. woke up super early and have our breakfast at some nearby coffeeshop. and then my uncle drove us to One Utama to buy bus tickets to Genting. it was so cool to have 7 people squeezed inside a 5 seater car. haha.

we reached there at 8.20am, thinking that we can get the early bus, but it was fully booked already. we only managed to buy the 10.30am bus. 2 hours to wait, and the shopping mall only opened at 10am. =S

it was pretty cheap to travel from KL to Genting
RM4.60 per ticket xD

walked around the travel agency there. there was no much agency down there, mostly will be at Puduraya. but there's bus from Singapore all the way to here.

so next time when we're coming back, we can take bus to One Utama instead of Puduraya. it was much more cleaner and safer here loh. haha.

sitting down, chit-chatting, looking around for numbers to buy 4D (the Loos Family! Loo is their surname) and finally, it was 10.30am.

TIME TO SET OFF TO GENTING HIGHLANDS. SO EXCITED xD

the bus which will drove us up till Skyway (Mid Valley)

pretty bored in the bus, so played around with my camera xD

reached Mid Valley at around 11.35am. and the queue for the Skyway was horribly long. we queued for one hour for it. and we learned our lesson, never go Genting on a weekend, plus it was also school holidays. no wonder!~

finally, our long awaited Skyway, we're approaching!!!~

and our main purpose to Genting was not for the theme park.... it's the Casino!!! hohoho.

and i did not expect my first 21 years old task was not the R21 movie. instead, it was stepping into the Casino. hahaha.

anyway, i was stopped by the security. lol. luckily i brought my passport along. if not, i think my uncle and aunts would have to accompany me walking aimlessly. haha.

signed up for Genting WorldCard

so that i can start gambling inside. haha. played the Jackpot, and it's like a money eating machine. haha. i put RM10 but in less than 2 minutes, i lost eveything.

so i followed my mother and aunt to play Roulette. it was an easy game, but not easy to win. 36 numbers and you have to spot on the number that the silver ball will land in the end.

i gave up playing as i lost RM80 in total. haha.

we left the place at 6.20pm to catch our bus at 7pm. we have to be down at Mid Valley by 7pm, but the queue for the Skyway was still very long, and we heard that the Skyway had stopped due to bad weather, Strong wind and very misty.

we were panicked down there on how to get down to Mid Valley by 7pm, if not we will missed the bus. we thought of taking cab down, but we couldn't find taxi stand. was running around the whole place. from indoor to outdoor, outdoor back to indoor. outside was extremely cold plus it was drizzling as well.

we were running outside and it was soo funny as all my aunt was using their scarf to cover their head. haha. we looked so indian =D hahaha. and we were pretty lucky that our bus drove up to fetch us. thank god. i bet there's still alot people stucked inside queueing for the Skyway. lol.

back home at around 10pm plus. and then my 6th aunt and 7th aunt packed their bags and left for their home. it's getting lesser and lesser people =(

Day 4 - 21st December 2009, Monday

sent my 5th aunt to Puduraya. she's going back to home at Sungkai, somewhere near Ipoh. bought bus ticket and off she went at 11am.

so, my uncle and 5th aunt took us to KL famous street, Petaling Street, to walk walk.

the place looked like a combination of Chinatown and Bugis Street. just that i felt that Singapore is much more cleaner and safer. i have to carry my bag tightly wherever i go xD

and i didn't realised my passport was inside my bag all along. lol. omg, what if my bag was snatched away? lol. better be safe than sorry!

and we had our lunch at a famous Wan Tan Mee Stall.

went back home at around 11pm plus. and now the room only left my mother and me. i remembered the first night, there was 4 people, then second night crowded with 5 people, third night 3 people and now only left we 2. from so cramp to so spacious now =S, so not used to it.

all my aunt one by one go back to their home. they all lived in different parts of Malaysia! hahaha.

Day 5 - 22nd December 2009, Tuesday

it was the Winter Solstice Festival 冬至, one of the biggest festival of the year for the Chinese. my aunt woke up at around 6am to start making glutinous ball.

and in the afternoon, we went to visit my Malaysian sister who stayed at Klang.

we went dinner at Yat Mun Restaurant. my mother asked my 6th aunt to join us again since she lived somewhere near Klang also.

and we had a wonderful reunion dinner. it's been a long 8 years for me. i remembered the last time i saw my nephew, there's only the first and second son, and they were only 4 years and 2 years old. 3rd son and the youngest daughter haven't even come out yet. lol.

in a blink, they were all so big already.

and i think my sister has drawing talent. she drew that free handed loh. wow!~

oh well, we sat donw there for hours, unwilling to leave at all. and my mother and her sisters talked for all sorts of thing, they even brought out things that happened over 10 years ago to chat. recalling back their childhood days =D

Day 6 - 23rd December 2009, Wednesday

woke up at around 6am to pack up our things. we booked 10.30am bus back to Singapore. but my aunt was afraid that there will be traffic jam if we leave late, so were forced to leave at 7am.

my uncle drove us bac to Puduraya, and we had Dim Sum for breakfast. haha. the last day already, so i paid for the meal xD. lol.

something held up when my mother was checking for our bus plate number. we booked the ticket last Friday, and the lady said she didn't booked any seat for us. my mother was arguing with her, but in the end she managed to get us another bus. phew!~

the bus left at around 11am and OFF WE BACK TO SINAGPORE. ~Home Sweet Home~
