the month that i seriously spent alot of money - MARCH!!!!

✖ my all-of-a-sudden Thailand, Bangkok trip with friends. overall, i spent $480 for the entire trip.
✖ my long awaited 2 years to renew my M1 contract so that i can change new handphone.
✖ my 3 months of waiting - IT Fair.

why must everything clash together in a month. Ahhhhh!~ $_$

anyway, on the 12th of March, i went IT Fair after work with Lisa and Shalee, together we meet Daphne, Edmund and Ginnette at Suntec!!

we splitted into 2 groups. Daphne, Lisa and Shalee went to look for camera, while the rest followed me to find laptop. hoho

and i already have in mind what laptop i wanted to get. anyway, i had been eyeing Acer Aspire 1410 for very long, like months ago i have already planning to get that.

i've seen so many small laptop, this is the only one i saw not using Atom Processor!! soooo GO FOR IT!!

outside selling at $899, IT fair selling at $799. i was trying to cut down the money. so i told the salesperson, level 4 selling at $699. lol. he went to ask his supervisor and then cut to $690 for me!! HAHA. 赚到了

and i'm asking for more! in the end, i got external CD drive and a optical mouse for FREE xD

anyway, the other reason i'm getting myself an Acer laptop again for the 3rd time because i have an extra Acer Charger! last time i thought my previous laptop's charger was spoilt, so went to buy one extra. but it turned out that the charger wasn't spoilt at all. LOL.

(p/s: FYI, my old laptop is still alive =D)

so now i have 3 Acer charger. i don't have to worry about charger problem in future!! yeahhh!

and 2 days after i bought my laptop. time to change handphone as well. waited for 2 years to re-contract.

♥ M1 with all their priviledges! we changed 5 phones and my 2nd brother was pulled over from Singtel to M1. LOL.

we were given $500 voucher, and my elder brother used that to buy an iphone, and that nice lady waived away the additional $18 xD. and we got another iphone for free as well, the lady said my father's plan can get the iphone free. so funny!~ haha.

i don't want to have triplet phone in the house so i chose HTC tattoo for myself. let both my brothers have their brotherly love iphone =D and the other phone were were Samsung and Sony Erisson + 2 M1 mobile broadband connect USB stick for free.

the only things was... we have to settle our outstanding bills first! haha.

in the end i paid $173 for all the phones + 3 sims card for the mobile broadband. and $120 for my bills =S

and one more things... m1 got 25% off our monthly bill. my bill became $19/month. wahahaha.

but still.... i spent $2K in 10 days =S

we went to register ourselves after that, and each of us will be given a t-shirt, a super bright lime green t-shirt. so that we can be easily spotted while cycling in the night xD. SAFETY FIRST!!

but they ran out of size 'S', so Ginnette, Joshua and me have to wait for it to come. and they ran out of bicycles as well. everyone have to wait for the lorry to deliver here.

we waited for so long and there's still no sight of the lorry yet, so we decided to go to the nearby 7-eleven to buy ice-cream., and also to run away from the mad man =S

and after 2 hours of waiting, the lorry finally arrived!!! our S size t-shirt arrived as well. quickly got change inside the toilet.

helping to bring the bicycles down from the lorry!!

and then, we proceeded to choose a bike for ourselves and not forgetting the safety helmet =D the bike was seriously tall. i have to tip-toe in order to reach the ground, and not forgetting i had an injured toe with me tonight!! Awww!~

finally we were about to set off at 11pm.

READY. STEADY. BOM BEEP BEEP

OFF WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!

starting off was quite unstable, not too used to tall and huge bike, and the moment when i was on the roadside, i felt stress especially when cars were driving past me!!! so scary! it was my first time cycling by the roadside, AT NIGHT somemore!!!

but after cycling for a few minutes! everything went smoothly! no more pressure, no more stress. i'm so excited!!

and i hate the horrible up slope!! i'm like using all my energy to cycle up slope!! it was hell!

and after an hour of cycling, we reached our first pitstop @ Chong Pang, Yishun. we stopped by a hawker centre for a break.

we did not have time to eat because we ordered the food quite late. by the time we just placed the order, it was time to go. only have time for a drink. no choice, but to cancel order and continue our journey.

and now, continued our cycling journey at 12.15am. the journey to our next pitstop have quite a number of up slope. i was having a super hard time cycling upward. it's like my leg was carrying a few tons of rocks.

Edmund behind me was complaining that he has to cycle very slow because i'm very slow infront!! LOL. and he has to be prepared to siam in case i ran out of energy and rolled backward. hahaha.

and i'm cycling very slow, very very slow up the stupid slope. i think if you walk, also can overtake me that kind of slow. anyway, Sam came up to me for rescue, he told me that i can change the gear to gear 1.

so all along, i was cycling up slope in gear 5 =.='''. from beginning until now!!! no wonder i'm like carrying a mountain uphill!!! quickly change to gear 1, and i felt so light!!! no more rocks or mountain and i can cycle up slope much more faster xD

after an hour plus of cycling, we reached our second pitstop @ Upper Thomson Road. we stopped by at the very famous 24 hours Roti Prata House for a break!

the place was still filled with lots of people despite it was already midnight, all the night owls!! hahaha. it was so hard to find a seat. good business uh?!

ordered Roti Prata for our supper. like duh! what else to buy when you are at Roti Prata House? i bought Roti Prata with cheese at $1.70 a piece and shared Ice Milo with Ginnette =D

i found this picture damn cool. imagine 30+ people cycling in a single file. what a long queue!!~

and now, the next journey will be quite dangerous. we'll reaching a much more messy zone. no more expressway/ulu area for us to cycle in peace. we'll be cycling past Bugis area. MORE CARS!! MORE TRAFFIC!! MORE CUTTING OF LANE!! Oh no!!!

and indeed it was. i remembered we have to gathered everyone together, and cut from the left lane to the right lane as a whole. one whole bunch cut across is easier than one by one.

once everyone had gathered together, the lorry that was carrying the remaining bicycles, helped to stop in between of the road to block the cars, and let the entire of us to cut across!!

and we were stucked in between cars infront of red light, i don't know whether is it we surrounded the cars, or the cars surrounded us. and i am stucked horizontally infront of a SMRT bus!!! LOL.

and finally, here we are at the third pitstop @ Bras Basah, which is also the last pitstop for the night. stopped by at the Kopitiam for a rest.

we were extremely tired and sleepy at that time. arm pain, butt pain, shoulder pain, leg pain. WEAK BODY!!

we did not buy any foods as majority of the stalls were closed. only Joshua went to buy a bowl of dessert, while the rest were trying to catch some sleep. Ginnette and me went for a long toilet break, by the time we came out, we missed the whole group photo taking session ='(

WHY? Why didn't you all wait for us?! LOL

off we go at 4am!!

we continued our danger zone for another 45 minutes or so, and it started to get safer when we were near Singapore Indoor Stadium that area. lesser and lesser car, and in the end the whole entire road got no cars at all. SO SHIOK!!!

actually we should be making our way to East Coast park straight without rest. but most of us really ran out of energy, and my leg especially my thigh was seriously in pain. and so, the whole team decided to take a rest near Singapore Indoor Stadium.

and here comes our fourth pitstop @ Stadium Walk, Kallang River.

took a short rest to replenish our energy! really quite a short one before we started to continue our last lap to our destination at 5am.

the last lap seems to be the most tiring one. my legs totally have no more strength, but my brain kept forcing it to cycle and cycle all the way.

and FINALLY, we reached our destination @ East Coast Park at 6am!!!

i totally have zero energy left. my whole entire legs were in pain, cramped and i wanted to chopped it off on the spot. lol.

the 5 of us actually sat on the walkway for hour plus. all of us were replenishing our lost sleep, and were already lying on the ground! i'm one of them who were lying on the ground sleeping xD
we woke up at around 7am plus, and caught the beautiful looking blue sky xD

totally got no more energy to cycle. so we slowly pushed the bicycles to the McDonald's to meet the rest and to sign off from the attendance list.

and then, we have to push the bicycle back to the bicycle shop to return. and what's more it's somewhere we walked past just now. they should have told us earlier, so that we do not need to walk back the extra distance.

so lame, and now we have to walk the same way back to the McDonald's for our breakfast.

my Sausage McMuffin with Egg meal!

had our breakfast, and then took bus 196 back to Bukit Merah Central. almost overslept in the bus. luckily i woke up in time. and then followed Ginnette back to her house to fetch my laptop home.

and then... i thought i can go home and sleep...... but still, i went out with my mother after that straight!! zzzZ

Ginnette wasted 3 slices of bread. she overtoasted it for 2 times. lol. all came out CHAO TA!!

after breakfast, took a picture before going back to our room.

yeah.. took turn to bathe, final packing of our bags, threw unwanted items in the room.. nahhh, not me, not Ginnette. it's Fazillah. before you leave the room, you can see all her rubbish lying around the room.

plastic wrapper, unwanted boxes, tissue packet, etc. everything she don't want, she just dumped it there *shakes head*

anyway, we decided to wear the same clothes back. we bought it at Suan Lum Night Market last night xD

and finally, we were ready to go!!!!!!!

waited for our van at the hotel lobby to pick us up and send us to the airport. 30 minutes journey!!

straight away went to check in and baggage in our super heavy bags!!!

we used the remaining time walking around the airport, looking for any sourvenirs to buy! haha. i managed to get "glass lotus" for my mother at 300 bahts and shared a box of chocolate biscuit with Ginnette at 125 baht each.

i was totally broke. not a single cents left!!! LOL

Fazilllah DIE-DIE also want to take a picture with this board.. because of the word "EMIRATES". oh well, typical Arsenal's fan!!!

we thought we can go home immediately, but who knows we were stucked at Belt 19 waiting for our bags to be out. we stand down there waited for almost like an hour!! and finally we saw our bags coming out!! phew!~

took MRT to Cityhall and transfer bus home.

and lastly, HOME SWEET HOME!!!
