Zhuhai / Macau Trip Day 2

woke up freaking early at 6am, and went down for breakfast at 7am. oh well, the breakfast was really damn cui. very china style, oh god! i only took fried rice and kway teow plus one hard-boiled egg. that's all. the rest, nahhhh. my parent ate those hahaha.

good morning!!!

after breakfast, we went back to our room for a rest while waiting for our bus to pick us up. and so, we decided to go on a package tour which we booked yesterday. the tour guide actually said he can only provide us with 2 mini buses, but today he surprised us with a big bus. yay. the family of 7 still got a mini bus on their own. okay, let's just ignore that family, and focus solely on the 9 of us then xD

first place to go, we were brought to a tourist attractions in Zhuhai, Meixi Royal Stone Archway. what a long English name, but it was said to be the residence of the guy who first developed Zhuhai.

next, we continued walking in. the inner part consists of more ancient structure. the tour guide led us in, and he brought us to this Chen's Family Stage to watch some Chinese Change Face Performance. it's one of the highlight there.

we ended the tour at around 10.40am, and left to have lunch at around 12.30pm. the bus brought us to one restaurant to have lunch. the foods weren't that bad, but we found that the china style of cooking was rather bland, people there don't really have chili in their foods. so not use to it. haha

next, after lunch we were brought to the next tourist attraction - Zhuhai Sante Cableway. it's located at Jingshan Park where we need to take the cable car up to the top of the hill for beautiful scenery. we will get to see the sea view as well as the mountain view of Zhuhai and Macau.

as for coming back down, we can actually choose to come down by the cable car again, or take the mountain car to slide down the hill, the time taken by mountain car to slide down was much much more faster.

anyway, we were give 30 minutes to explore the top of the hill. i quickly bring my parent walked around, climbed stairs, climbed mountain, climbed hill, walked up slope, etc. that afternoon was seriously hot, we went all the way up and have some pictures taken before walking back down. there's also a wishing rock too xD

oh yeah. finally it's time to return back down. we meet up with our new tour friend, the family of 4 and went down together. the big brother from the family and i decided to try out the Mountain Car instead of the Cable Car. it's so much exciting and thrilling to go down by that, it came with 3 section, and 2 person per section. only 6 people can go down at one time.

his wife was not able to take the ride because she was pregnant so together with his parent and my parent, the 5 of them have to take the slow and stable Cable Car back down.

seriously, the Mountain Car felt more shiok! the speed was incredibly fast, with the wind blowing on your face. i have super messy hair when i reached at the bottom. and yes, please do not wear any hat or cap during the ride, you might lost it in the end. lol. it only took us 2 mins to reach down whereas the Cable Car needs around 7 minutes.

and finally, the last destination for the day. we were brought to some tourist scamming places, to see jade. ahhh, it was freaking boring. i have no intention or any interest to buy jade. so have to go on with the rest of the people, well sit there and slack for a good whole 25 minutes. what a waste of my time.

yeah, finally after 30 minutes of torturing, we can finally get out of the place. the bus then sent us back to hotel at around 4pm and rest. once back at the hotel, the 9 of us decided to meet up at 6pm later to have dinner together.

oh yay, we have like 2 hours to rest. ahhh, back to hotel and chiong drama on my laptop. after watching 2 episodes, we made our way down to the lobby and wait for the rest. we walked all the way out to look around for any nice restaurant places, in the end we decided to dine in at some Tian Sheng Eating House for some proper dinner.

this time round, my mother actually requested them to add chili in the dishes. we were sick of bland foods already. haha. and now, you can see most of the dishes have chili on top of them hahaha.. it tasted so much nicer!!

after dinner, we ourselves took a cab to the Gong Bei Underground Shopping Mall to do our last shopping in Zhuhai. this would be our last day in Zhuhai, we will be heading to Macau the next day. yes, gonna shop till we dropped.

we went back to our hotel 2 hours later. have our late night supper in the hotel room as well xD their mini water dispenser in the room is so cool. we can have both hot and cold water =D
