yes, we're back to Xue Ni's house for cake baking again. this time round is to bake Edmund's 20th birthday cake for him. well, his birthday is always very special. Epsilon will personally baked a cake specially for him. he better slurve, noo, i mean LOVE us more! hahaha. this year we chose to bake him a Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies.

and the ingredients needed.
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2-oz dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
8-oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
started off with Shun An to Butter the Parchment

secondly, melt butter and chocolate together.
well, simple job. I CAN DO IT :D
thirdly, whisk together sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and red food colouring.
haha looks like blood O_o
well, whisking job we shall let Ginnette do it haha
Add chocolate mixture and stir until smooth
and again, we used our BARE HAND to do it.
Add flour and salt and stir until just combined and no streaks of dry ingredients remain.
Pour into prepared pan and spread into an even layer.
To prepare cheesecake mixture, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth.
Distribute the cheesecake mixture in 8 dollops over batter in the pan. Swirl in with a knife or spatula.

pretty huh!!! and yeah, ready to send it into the oven
...
....
next, bake it for 35 to 40 minutes... but it was not ready, so we extend it until an hour :D

and lastly, we have to wrapped his birthday present and we decided to self-made a card for him. we planned to actually make him some love-threat card, so we browsed through magazines to search for words, phrase, alphabets, etc. and then, we ended up with this...... not a love-threat card anymore. it was more to sexuality LOL.
this was really a more wonderful handmade card as compared to the one we made 2 years ago haha.
