Food hunt @ Old Airport Road
Written at Saturday, March 24, 2012 | back to top

a meet up for the sake of Edmund. yes, his very first book out ever since he enlisted 2 weeks ago, and he can't wait to meet all of us. haha. he looked super tanned, anyway he's already very tanned in the first place, plus this 2 weeks of training.. it's like an add-on, to darken his colour, laughs. VERY BLACK! hahah.

meet at Dakota station, and we made our way to the Old Airport Hawker Centre, well just a walkable distance. the place looks kind of familiar, like i have been there before. but then, i don't really remember i went to Old Airport market in the past. rawrr, how contradicting!! forget it.

the foods we shared!

seems like all the good and delicious foods can be found at Old Airport market. but the only problem is, those popular, delicious, famous foods which appeared on tv or newspaper or magazine, their queue is ridiculously LONG! how am i going to queue for it?!

well, the only super long queue stall which we went to queue for was the Lao Ban Beancurd. haha. Ting Yu and Xue Ni went to queue for it, for a solid 30 minutes. i have never eaten that before, heard that it's a very popular beancurd.

while waiting for Ting Yu and Xue Ni to come back

LAO BAN BEANCURD!

well, since it is so famous, and with the queue to guarantee that it's worth the buy. i decided to buy 4 bowls back home for my family. and ended up everyone each dapao a few bowls back. hahaha, total we bought 20 bowls of beancurd, with 4 bowls to be eaten on the spot, and the rest is to buy back home one lol.

and yea, after that we decided to train down back to Bugis, and to play at Iluma's arcade. kind of troublesome, to carry 4 bowls of beancurd and walked around. it was heavy though, like having a burden with me.

at Iluma yo!

stood outside the lift waiting area and spammed pictures, seriously!

The Night before Edmund's enlistment
Written at Tuesday, March 06, 2012 | back to top

yes, very soon our little boy in our group is going to serve the nation. just 2 more days before he enlist, we decided to gather one last night together, in celebration of our little boy becoming a real man hahahaha.

started off with dinner at Aston's and then desserts at Cafe Cartel. looks like Cafe Cartel has become our favourite hangout place after 9pm. it's all because of their 50% discount after 9pm. hahah.

PAYM Chingay Appreciation Night 2012
Written at Saturday, March 03, 2012 | back to top

yes, exactly one month after our main chingay performance, we are going to meet back and catch up with old friends, whom we made and laughed and enjoyed and trained and rehearsed and practised and danced and stayed together for the past 4 months. this 4 months of friendship brings back lots of memories :D

and again, same as last year. this year PAYM Appreciation Night is held at Sentosa. it's just that they changed from Azzura to Wavehouse. hahaha. and not to complain so much, just gonna be so glad that Sentosa is near my house. even if going stay until 11pm plus i also have no worries *laughs* the most, walk home loh!

enter Sentosa through....
The Sentosa Boardwalk heee!~

Aiseh... WAVEHOUSE YO!

PAYM..
VIVA VICTORY!

with my fellow Group A friends

and this nonsense Victor

looks like this year Appreciation Night, they have more things to play, more enjoyment and fun. they even have booth to have fake tattoo drawn, exaggerated decoration to our eyes and alphabet's bead to make our name. not to forget the buffet spread for dinner, and the dance competition on stage, for all the youths dancers out there. of course, they have to go through audition first lah. haha.

colourful huh!

yay done!

yeahh, we went to get our eyes done first. the person asked me what i want, and i just randomly said "colourful".. and thud, this is what i got! hahaha. colourful butterfly huh!

temporary tattoo

next, we went over to have our tattoo drawn. haha, browsed through so many patterns, i finally made my decision and choose the dolphin one.

suddenly got the bad girl look. haha. looks cool huh, but too bad i don't have tattoo. i don't have, won't want, and will never ever get myself tattoo-ed =) well, once in a while is okay, so a temporary one will do, it will disappear a few days later anyway.

alphabet names

this is one that we used lots of times doing. you know, gotta hunt for our alphabets, gotta put it through the strings and gotta further enhance it with others beads. this is so tiring. especially when some alphabets are seriously not easy to find. they. but with perseverance and determination, we FOUND it. haha, so proud of ourselves.

our 2012 PAYM Chingay Chairperson, Mr Iswandi!

dinner buffet yo.

Polaroid photos with Angeline and Saiko

yeahh, with the choreographers
Melvin, Kenneth, Freddie and Jin Wen.

the best starfish jump shot. haha

big action shot.

and here comes the dance competition winner.
