wheee!~ happy family day. oh well, we were called the "happy family", in another terms, we were actually the LAO GAO FAMILY! the reason why? because our father is laogao. *fingers pointing* to Wilson. hahaha.
did i ever introduce my family? okay let's start here then. Wilson is the father of the family, making him the monkey, LAO GAO PAPA CHAN. Paul, who is not here today, is the mother of the family. he is the most loved by all 3 of us, octopus, TAKO MAMA CHAN. and yes, my 2 older stepsisters. Ginnette, the caterpillar; Yvonne, the whale; and me the penguin. together we are formed the Lao Gao Family.
well, as requested and introduced by Yvonne that singing in JB is dirt cheap. and so we were here today for karaoke session. starting off with our favourite Golden Dragon Curry Fish Head. woohoo!~

and next, we made our way back to the City Square Mall for our karaoke session. wanting to book our ktv room, but however the package we wanted only available in the afternoon like 1.30pm. so we decided to go for it, make a reservation... and of course, Ginnette, Yvonne and me managed to lie it off as a student by showing them our poly student card, which was...... expired in 2009 LOL.
but who cares. nahhh!!~ and so, we have like 2 hours to spend before 1.30pm. not to waste any time, we immediately went to cinema to check whether any movie which is showing like... now? and ya!, there's a horror movie which will start in another 15 minutes time. no time to think, just BOOK first. haha.
RM11 per ticket. really damn cheap. it's only S$4.40, and not forgetting it's on a Sunday! Singapore Sunday ticket needs like $11+ loh.

horror? not horror? i don't know, more like thriller kind of show, mental people killing people. ahhh i struggled myself while watching, keep on asking Yvonne "when is it going to end?" ahhhhh!~ i like to watch horror, thriller movie, but i think i soon going to have weak heart lol. it's like a torture to watch sia =/
and yea.. finally the show ended. quickly made our way out and towards Neway Karaoke. check in loh....

ohhhh after singing, we headed out to Baskin Robins for ice cream. well, looks like we don't really care about money when we were in Malaysia. chey, whatever cost there, divided by 2.5 is like nothing to us. heehee.

heh, karaoke time le yo! met up with my Happy Family for a ktv session at Teo Heng @ NTU Alumni. Wilson made a reservation at the very first session, although it's only for 3 hours, we did enjoy the times there.
and it's only like $36 for a medium room. $7.20 per person nia.

it was rather a very last minute, being called out to join the Family Courts friends for a karaoke session after work. anyway, it's a farewell party for Xue Li who will be leaving soon. for those who don't know, i used to be permanently stationed at Family Court for like 6 months in year 2010. that's why i know most of the people there.
and since all were old friends hanging out together, so why now just join them to PartyWorld @ Liang Court. i went over to Family Court after work to wait for the rest. Brandon booked the room from 7 to 10pm. so we have like 1.5 hours more to slack and spam photo since it was Xue Li last day at work.

and next, after everybody knocked off from work, we made our way to the Liang Court which was just nearby. anyway, as compared to other KTV, Partyworld has the worse sound system, and their mic was in very bad condition. horribly bad, the sound will just come on and off. it made you sounds like you sang out of tune, but in fact... it's the mic who got no sound come out at all....
pretty pissed off with the damn mic. my first time going Partyworld and it was such a bad impression. i shall stick back to Kbox, Top One or Teo Heng in future :)
and not to forget, it was also an early farewell for Brandon who will be leaving next month. oh my, one by one all leaving. my friends are leaving one after one :(

finally, a karaoke session held at the Kbox @ Mt Faber Safra, since we have been craving to sing so much. and so nice to choose it at Mount Faber Safra, it's like wow, so near to my house. haha. i can even walk home from there.
my first time going to the Kbox there, somewhere new for me. and i love to have big singing room. luckily we have enough people to request for a bigger room.

it's always the same, song spamming at the beginning. flooding one singer songs after one. next time we should really shuffle the song list. if not, we are particularly singing all the songs by the same singer for like 5 to 10 minutes, before proceeding to the next singer one.
and when reaching the end of the session, where all of us running out of the energy to sing. that's when the photo-spamming part came about. we have got no energy to sing, but we have lots of energy to pose for pictures! not bad huh!!
