Teachers' Day + Be Yourself Day 2008

yo. i'm back to school. we went back henderson for teachers' day celebration. watched the teachers' day concert in the school hall. yes, the hall (hall of celebration and also hall of judgement).

my classmates also some came back. alot people couldn't make it back due to work, exam, fyp, etc. i am glad that i need not worried for all those cases. haha.

despite fazillah is back this year, we don't care, and insisted to take a sweet picture with mr wardi. and fazillah was the one who took the photo for us. sorry girl. haha

after that, ginnette, fazillah and me took bus down to GV plaza to watch 4bia. yeah, we managed to watch it before the 7th month ends.

initially, we planned to watch the 1.30pm slot. but we were late, and the tickets were super selling fast plus the super-duper long queue. we doubt we could watch it, so we bought the 4.10pm one instead.

strolling in plaza singapura while waiting. first place to go "spotlight", our dear princess sophia fazillah was auntie enough to visit that shop. anyway, we found whatever we can, and took a picture with it. lol.

(p/s: if you watched 4bia, you will know who the hell is that princess sophia *goosebumps*)

anyway, it's SHOW TIME!!!!

the theatre was almost full house today. and and i love the atmosphere that the whole bunch of friends, who were sitting behind us, gave. i think they were some jc students who were so hyper-active kind.

and one of their friend who were seated beside fazillah is so cute lah. i guessed he don't watch horror movie at all one, just being dragged along with his friend to watch together.

and throughout the whole show, he was looking down, hands covering the ears. so funny~ he did not watched the show at all. but i think the screaming inside the theatre is enough to scare him. lol.

back to the movie. eh, i think the show was not bad at all. 4 stories total. it does gave me the feeling of "horror movie marathon". haha.

talking about the atmosphere. we must thank the bunch of people behind us. they really brought out the climax. and fazillah just simply followed them and... scream and scream. lol.

ginnette was shocked by the first story, =.=''' for the second story, laugh at the third story... and then emotionless for the last story. lol.

and for me, yea yea. half of my face was already hidden inside my bag. haha.

btw, the first story (handphone story) really really really shocked everyone. after the 1st story, still got people say "i should go watch wall-E.....~~".

second story (school one) okay, need not mention. i found it very lame as what wei long had told me. it's not horror, it's just gore and disgusting to see how they get killed. plus the ghost, it looked so cartoon. (ginnette said it should be the same person who designed the ghost for body #19 -rmb the matrix ghost? haha-)

third story (camping story) is so far the scary+funny story. it's so funny!! he 4 guys conversation is so funny! when they mentioned about the movie "shutter" and "titanic", and one of the guy actually linked the story together. HAHA.

~rose is actually sitting on jack's shoulder~ eh that' the ending fo "shutter" when the ghost was sitting on the male lead's shoulder. LOL.

and as for the fourth story (inside the aeroplane), okat princess sophia story. it's somehow scary enough, but with the person who kept screaming beside me (fazillah), it made me more tense. haha.

eh i enjoyed myself throughout the movie. haha.

heh. i went to meet up surprise my fellow buddies (audrey, daphne, ginnette, lisa and wai keong) at essential brew @ holland village.

yeah. only lisa knew i'm coming seretly. i don't know how come wai keong knew it as well. okay, nevermind, that's not the point.

my aim there was to eat pasta as i suddenly felt like eating. yes, that explains my appearance last night. haha. i went just for the sake of my pasta. hah. BUT... i ordered fish & chips instead. XD. dun ask me why!

after the dinner, we stayed back and sat for hours plus. making alot of noise, yes. sat down there made discussions. we discussed graduation overseas trip. yea, from further country like hong kong to nearby places like batam, genting, etc.

dun ask me why we considered hong kong as further country. please, we dun have such money to go japan or korea. hong kong is already a pain!

anyway, we also start planning for chalet this year. haha. yes, and a reshuffle of degreeians members. new committee members were selected out also. (boys and girls, remember your roles and responsibilities hoh =D)

and lastly, the revival of our degreeians blog. haha. it has been dead for long, people, do visit often k.

a sudden crave for badminton!

but everyone is fyp-ing. exam-ing. no one is free to entertain me. everyday besides working, i have nothing better to do.

wanted to go out on my free day. a random shopping, alone. walk walk, see see, look look.

but the weather spoilt all my plan.

the rain comes and goes. stay at home, sunshine + hot sun + blue clouds. preparing to go out, no sight of sun + black clouds + thunderstorms.

yes, tomorrow some of my girls are meeting out for dinner @ essential brew. i decided to give it a miss. i think i better save some money for my bus concession. haha. eh next time, find somewhere cheaper XD.

beijing olympics is over. 15 days past so fast. i watched the closing ceremony last night. so GRAND! haha.

at least singapore got ONE medal after a long-awaited 48 years.

anyway, starting to like my job already, the only problem is.....the food in great world city is SO EXPENSIVE!!! i think i better buy food from outside. can help me save some money! haha

yesterday worked until 12 midnight. eh, i think it's quite fun to stay out so late. haha. but sad lah. have to do house-cleaning. haha.

anyway, wei long mopped the floor. haha. he's the maid. i only washed the cup. but i did help to clear rubbish hoh.

then still have to wait until the last show end. so slow~

went kbox yesterday with audrey, daphne and lisa. ah ha long time never go out le. haha. ever since attachment started, it's like so hard to go out loh. and now finally it has ended, make full use of my "last few days of holidays".

went suntec city branch. haha. nearer to lisa work place. see, we are so considerate. hah.

yo, daphne and me. haha. we were so damn slack while waiting for lisa and audrey finished their "retro-ing" songs. so just keep snapping and snapping photo loh. with daphne new camera. ha.

okay, we finished all our foods. the sotong ball tasted horribly. *puke*

audrey left at 4.15pm for badminton game. lisa left at 5pm for work. left the whole room to daphne and me. but were being "chased out" at 5.30pm. sad!

next time do not choose such busy branch. choose some ulu ulu place one, can sing until 7pm wor~ haha

heh. yesterday i went back school wor. haya asked me back, haikal asked me back, ah wong also asked me back. i overslept loh. thought can don't need go, but still, I WENT.

ihp final presentation like so grand wor. haha. anyway, i'm trying to avoid from my classmates. in case they kept asking me, "you come back for what?" but still un-avoidable.

saw lim chor pee. and the first thing he asked me was, "eh eh. i havent received the cd from you all leh? you four(refering to dedric, mervyn, ziqi and me lah) dun want submit, want get zero mark ah?"

what seh, i called ziqi immediately. luckily she was at canteen 2, made her come all the way up to ihp room an negotiate with him. anyway, we submitted the cd to mr long loh. and he insisted we need to burn 2 copies. sigh. one for archive, and one for marking.

this teacher ah, problematic. lol. last minute want us to get him another copy =.=''

btw tomorrow going sentosa. i have yet to tell my mother. anyway, i don't intend to tell her. you think am i still allowed to go if i tell her? thanks to "7th month". =)

i'll be a bad girl for this once.

my final presentation was finally OVER! it's like something heavy from me has been threw down from 12o storey. haha. too exaggerated?

it went on smoothly, perfectly. i presented happily, and for the first time, i present until super thirsty. lol. i stayed awake until 1.29am last night loh.

my panel of judges are..... my LO, lim chor pee. and alternate LO, long boo teck.

they are nice ok! at least, i felt that way. and i think my presentation was quite alright. haha. i put alot effort inside one hoh.

our group ended pretty fast. 11.30am end already. while the other group ended around 12.30pm. whee.

met ah wong, then went up to ihp room with her. but i left quite early, as i promised to treat my parent to watch money not enough II. yes, a treat from me XD.

btw ginnette and me went to apply for part-time at golden village. haha. today i think is because of public holiday, tiong bahru gv branch is like full with people queueing up.

nobody is free to entertain us at all. ginnette and me waited like hell. we stood there for almost like hour plus, the queue just wouldn't stop. we don't even have the chance to ask at all. hah.

we reeked of the "popcorn smell" haha.

anyway, we failed the "endurance test". we left to gv at great world after waiting for so super long. okay, there was much better, at least not many people and we could ask the people there.

and just as i expected. the first question the counter lady asked us was, "how old are you all?"

eh, my presentation slide is.. .. .. .. 60% done.

the day finally arrived. i'm sad u know! last day in SSMC, and i'm sad. i think it's normal. haha. 5 months leh. we spent 5 months together. for the first time, i hate to say goodbye.

we went lunch together. haha. but sadly not all our IA friends were present. some were busy having farewell lunch with their department people.

so only 3 staffs (cresent, jamie and my boss, victor) and 6 IA (dedric, shaun, si ling, suren, zi qi and me) went for lunch at xin wang hong kong cafe @ white sands.

okay. victor paid for suren and me. haha. =) *i'm so touched* XD what to do? we are his student =)

anyway, it was quite funny at the restaurant. shaun was telling the the lady to take the order from the adult. and then the lady was asking, "then who is the children?" the next moment, all IA raise up their hands. LOL.

the lady was asking us to be a member so that we can enjoyed some discount, and just nice suren birthday falls on this month, so he was "forced" to sign up, and we got a free bottle of red wine.

and of course, we brought the red wine back (secretly) to office and celebrate. lol.

we came out for lunch at 12pm, and yet 2pm we are still not back. haha. went to buy some gifts for the people. anyway, i dun need rush back wor, since my boss was outside with me. HA

busy splitting our chocolates to who to give. haha. i gave my boss a box of chocolate. and the rest were busy exchanging chocolates. haha

jamie brought all of us into the "Copy Room", which is the room for the cleaner to rest. we hid inside and have our mini party. haha. (i dun think the CEO will go in and spot check bah)

oh that was my supervisor, victor (behind in red) and his 2 belovings NOISY students, me and suren.

anyway, photo-taking is strictly restricted. but we broke the rules by snapping and snapping inside the room. tha's the power of camera handphone .lol.

okay, we enjoyed life too early lah, after that we are so damn busy lah. need to do clearance formby going up to various department to let the people clear the form for us.

clear our computer account, clear our e-mail, clear our badge/pass, clear our attendance sheet . after that, still need clear my desk, clear my drawer. it's full of rubbish. still need to bring home my ultraman cushion and jay chou calendar. lol

then still need to ask my supervisor do my appraisal form, evaluation form, my school form 1, 2 and 3. and my report i kept editing. i printed 4 copies in total. hah. do some amendment, i re-print. that's how i got 4 copies.

i must thank my boss who gave me such a good grade when he did the form 1, 2 and 3.

last 3 days.

had department farewell lunch today at lemongrass @ downtown east. one staffs and me are leaving on the 8th. then suren leave on the 15th. after we left, it's gonna be very very quiet le. no noise came from the 2 of us anymore. sigh.

anyway, the lunch was so delicious. especially the tom yam soup. TASTY! YUMMY! the thai food served there was so nice. our department director paid for it. haha.

was so busy today.....i mean, busy doing our presentation slide. so last minute, i know. suren complained my slide which is supposed to be formal, turned out to be so childish and cartoon.

during 5 plus when all our department people wen for meeting, we browsed the internet for part-time job. ziqi came over as well. haha. she's like so free sia. and the 3 of us just kept looking for job.

after that, it's time to play paint ball. haha. i was grouped to TEAM 5.

and this is the super "heavy" gun. actually it's quite cool to run around with a gun. hahaha

okay, while waiting for group 1 and 2 finished playing. that was me, ramesh and cresent.

finally. its team 5 vs team 1. anyway, the first round, our team won. there's prices to pay for winning. i fell down and was shot thrice.

we had to shoot 2 targets from the opponent's team, after the targets were shot, we have to go to the centre of our field and get the ammo box back to our base, the first team who got the ammo box will win.

i am so malu when i fell down lah. haha. was holding the gun and wearing the safety helmet. then i saw the ammo box on the floor, wanted to grab it and run. but the moment i grabbed hold of the ammo box. i fell hard on the ground.

haha. funny right? head with heavy helmet, right hand with heavy gun, left hand with heavy box. of course fall down lah. anyway, i picked myself up and quickly ran back to our base. yay.

for the second round, we had the same score (highest score) as team 4, so we have to compete each other to get the first and second.

second round, i clever sia. when i got hold of the box, i threw my gun away immediately. eh, it's heavy loh. of course must throw away one. lol. but in the end, we still lost.

was shot 3 times during the game. haha. was shot on my leg, shoulder and my BUTT. all blue-black le. considered not bad already. some people was shot until skin tear. haha. jamie's bruise is seriuosly bad.

i didn't know the injury would be so bad. no wonder before we play, we need to sign one waiver form, which i called it the "life and death" form. lol

5 members from team 5. we managed to win the 2nd prize. anyway, the one on the right hand side wasn't our team members. he is the vice president of our division in our company.

yay. the organising committee. cannot imagine 2 IA students are also involve in organising. lol.

anyway, there is only six IA students in the department outings. suren and me (risk management), arumugam, ming wei, nigel and shaun (facilities).

wow. mini merlion spotted somewhere near my house. haha.

it's for the national day dinner tonight. every year there will be such dinner at the car park between my block and the other, so our 2 flats are always full of SINGAPORE FLAGS.

look. i mean LOOK at this plant. it's YOU who poked my right eye yesterday with YOUR SUPER SHARP POINT of the leaf. *i dun water you then you know, hmpf*

i was going to switch on the switch and god-knows-when YOU just gave me a sudden INJECTION to my eye. Lol.

haha. this morning i woke up, my right eye is full with tears. i was thinking why am i crying during my sleep, and then i realised my left eye is dry, only right side is wet! hoho.

heh wait, i'm not blind yet~ i have this (look below) =D

anti itchness, anti swollen. eh, u guess what, i dun dare to drop it into my eye. so scary lah. and my aiming is super can't-make-it. i can't seem to drip it into my eye. haha

my final presentation was finally OVER! it's like something heavy from me has been threw down from 12o storey. haha. too exaggerated?

it went on smoothly, perfectly. i presented happily, and for the first time, i present until super thirsty. lol. i stayed awake until 1.29am last night loh.

my panel of judges are..... my LO, lim chor pee. and alternate LO, long boo teck.

they are nice ok! at least, i felt that way. and i think my presentation was quite alright. haha. i put alot effort inside one hoh.

our group ended pretty fast. 11.30am end already. while the other group ended around 12.30pm. whee.

met ah wong, then went up to ihp room with her. but i left quite early, as i promised to treat my parent to watch money not enough II. yes, a treat from me XD.

btw ginnette and me went to apply for part-time at golden village. haha. today i think is because of public holiday, tiong bahru gv branch is like full with people queueing up.

nobody is free to entertain us at all. ginnette and me waited like hell. we stood there for almost like hour plus, the queue just wouldn't stop. we don't even have the chance to ask at all. hah.

we reeked of the "popcorn smell" haha.

anyway, we failed the "endurance test". we left to gv at great world after waiting for so super long. okay, there was much better, at least not many people and we could ask the people there.

and just as i expected. the first question the counter lady asked us was, "how old are you all?"

eh, my presentation slide is.. .. .. .. 60% done.

the day finally arrived. i'm sad u know! last day in SSMC, and i'm sad. i think it's normal. haha. 5 months leh. we spent 5 months together. for the first time, i hate to say goodbye.

we went lunch together. haha. but sadly not all our IA friends were present. some were busy having farewell lunch with their department people.

so only 3 staffs (cresent, jamie and my boss, victor) and 6 IA (dedric, shaun, si ling, suren, zi qi and me) went for lunch at xin wang hong kong cafe @ white sands.

okay. victor paid for suren and me. haha. =) *i'm so touched* XD what to do? we are his student =)

anyway, it was quite funny at the restaurant. shaun was telling the the lady to take the order from the adult. and then the lady was asking, "then who is the children?" the next moment, all IA raise up their hands. LOL.

the lady was asking us to be a member so that we can enjoyed some discount, and just nice suren birthday falls on this month, so he was "forced" to sign up, and we got a free bottle of red wine.

and of course, we brought the red wine back (secretly) to office and celebrate. lol.

we came out for lunch at 12pm, and yet 2pm we are still not back. haha. went to buy some gifts for the people. anyway, i dun need rush back wor, since my boss was outside with me. HA

busy splitting our chocolates to who to give. haha. i gave my boss a box of chocolate. and the rest were busy exchanging chocolates. haha

jamie brought all of us into the "Copy Room", which is the room for the cleaner to rest. we hid inside and have our mini party. haha. (i dun think the CEO will go in and spot check bah)

oh that was my supervisor, victor (behind in red) and his 2 belovings NOISY students, me and suren.

anyway, photo-taking is strictly restricted. but we broke the rules by snapping and snapping inside the room. tha's the power of camera handphone .lol.

okay, we enjoyed life too early lah, after that we are so damn busy lah. need to do clearance formby going up to various department to let the people clear the form for us.

clear our computer account, clear our e-mail, clear our badge/pass, clear our attendance sheet . after that, still need clear my desk, clear my drawer. it's full of rubbish. still need to bring home my ultraman cushion and jay chou calendar. lol

then still need to ask my supervisor do my appraisal form, evaluation form, my school form 1, 2 and 3. and my report i kept editing. i printed 4 copies in total. hah. do some amendment, i re-print. that's how i got 4 copies.

i must thank my boss who gave me such a good grade when he did the form 1, 2 and 3.

last 3 days.

had department farewell lunch today at lemongrass @ downtown east. one staffs and me are leaving on the 8th. then suren leave on the 15th. after we left, it's gonna be very very quiet le. no noise came from the 2 of us anymore. sigh.

anyway, the lunch was so delicious. especially the tom yam soup. TASTY! YUMMY! the thai food served there was so nice. our department director paid for it. haha.

was so busy today.....i mean, busy doing our presentation slide. so last minute, i know. suren complained my slide which is supposed to be formal, turned out to be so childish and cartoon.

during 5 plus when all our department people wen for meeting, we browsed the internet for part-time job. ziqi came over as well. haha. she's like so free sia. and the 3 of us just kept looking for job.

after that, it's time to play paint ball. haha. i was grouped to TEAM 5.

all of us sitting there to listen to the game rules and so on~

and this is the super "heavy" gun. actually it's quite cool to run around with a gun. hahaha

okay, while waiting for group 1 and 2 finished playing. that was me, ramesh and cresent.

finally. its team 5 vs team 1. anyway, the first round, our team won. there's prices to pay for winning. i fell down and was shot thrice.

we had to shoot 2 targets from the opponent's team, after the targets were shot, we have to go to the centre of our field and get the ammo box back to our base, the first team who got the ammo box will win.

i am so malu when i fell down lah. haha. was holding the gun and wearing the safety helmet. then i saw the ammo box on the floor, wanted to grab it and run. but the moment i grabbed hold of the ammo box. i fell hard on the ground.

haha. funny right? head with heavy helmet, right hand with heavy gun, left hand with heavy box. of course fall down lah. anyway, i picked myself up and quickly ran back to our base. yay.

for the second round, we had the same score (highest score) as team 4, so we have to compete each other to get the first and second.

second round, i clever sia. when i got hold of the box, i threw my gun away immediately. eh, it's heavy loh. of course must throw away one. lol. but in the end, we still lost.

was shot 3 times during the game. haha. was shot on my leg, shoulder and my BUTT. all blue-black le. considered not bad already. some people was shot until skin tear. haha. jamie's bruise is seriuosly bad.

i didn't know the injury would be so bad. no wonder before we play, we need to sign one waiver form, which i called it the "life and death" form. lol

5 members from team 5. we managed to win the 2nd prize. anyway, the one on the right hand side wasn't our team members. he is the vice president of our division in our company.

yay. the organising committee. cannot imagine 2 IA students are also involve in organising. lol.

anyway, there is only six IA students in the department outings. suren and me (risk management), arumugam, ming wei, nigel and shaun (facilities).

wow. mini merlion spotted somewhere near my house. haha.

it's for the national day dinner tonight. every year there will be such dinner at the car park between my block and the other, so our 2 flats are always full of SINGAPORE FLAGS.

look. i mean LOOK at this plant. it's YOU who poked my right eye yesterday with YOUR SUPER SHARP POINT of the leaf. *i dun water you then you know, hmpf*

i was going to switch on the switch and god-knows-when YOU just gave me a sudden INJECTION to my eye. Lol.

haha. this morning i woke up, my right eye is full with tears. i was thinking why am i crying during my sleep, and then i realised my left eye is dry, only right side is wet! hoho.

heh wait, i'm not blind yet~ i have this (look below) =D

anti itchness, anti swollen. eh, u guess what, i dun dare to drop it into my eye. so scary lah. and my aiming is super can't-make-it. i can't seem to drip it into my eye. haha
