yeah, celebrating Ben's 24th birthday, and also to gather out the poly friends for a mini gathering. but sadly, not everyone are able to make it.

i'm on leave today. haha. just nice i'm able to join Audrey, Daphne and Lisa for morning dim sum at Toa Payoh Swatow Seafood Restaurant. well, highly recommended by Daphne haha. anyway the dim sum wasn't that bad, everything $50+. considered not cheap actually since we did not order alot. i can eat more delicious and better dim sum at Chinatown at a more affordable price.
but i have decided to bring my parent come here eat one day. at least try other places for once. haha.

and next, went over to Buona Vista station to wait for Ginnette and Shalee. proceed over to some random zichar stall at Holland Village to have dinner there. and most importantly, to celebrate Audrey's 23rd Birthday.
haha. since we were with Audrey the whole day, we can only ask Shalee to help buy the cake first, and she ended up buying some long chocolate bread instead of cake lol. the shop owner told her it's highly recommended haha so she bought it.

this was a very random night out with my poly girls after work/school, i realised i rarely meet up with them this whole year. anyway, we kind of keep changing the meeting location. final meeting place was set to be at Holland Village xD
and thanks Linnet for giving me a ride there as she reached there pretty early, so she purposely looped her way in to my house area and picked me up.
we had a hard time deciding on our chill-out place. there's so many pubs, cafes, restauants with nice ambience for us to relax and enjoy. Linnet and me walked and walked, and finally we reached to a dead-end that we couldn't go on any further, so we just head in to The Coffee Club which happened to be just beside us =D

anyway, Liting was complaining that the lighting of where we seated was horrible, so we switched from one place to another =.=", to get a perfect lighting just for her to take photos of herself lol.

and the lizards there totally freaked us out. those on the wall and ceiling on especially. they were long, big and fat! plus the lights on the wall which made them looked so transparent?! we were so worried that it might just dropped down and land on us =S
and we also saw one baby lizard on the floor, which was not moving at all. yea, we used the legs of the chair to touch it, Liting threw packet and packet of sugar on it to see whether is it dead? yeah, it's still not moving, so we assumed it was dead already.

and here comes the best and wonderful part. lol. we were there waiting for our foods to be served and totally ignored the presence of the assumed-is-dead lizard.
all of a sudden, Liting and me saw the baby lizard was actually moving it's head. as if it just woke up from some concussion. and we were arguing with Linnet that it was not dead. our voice got louder and louder and then Linnet finally saw the lizard moving, and our voice got even louder.
i think the waitress there couldn't stand our nonsense, and she came forward, used her feet to stepped on the baby lizard, dragged her feet front and back twice, smiled at us, and she walked off back to serving customers.
the 3 of us were in a state of shock for at 5 seconds before waking up to the reality. the first thing i realised was the lizard was gone, i bet it got stuck underneath her shoe. poor thing, it was really dead now =/
anyway, we were not that hungry, so we just ordered random foods and share together. i forgot what we ordered, hmm... a bowl of mushroom soup, a bowl of fries, duck salad and seafood spaghetti. i think so!~

finally, i reached my October post!
i'm catching up....
and so, a birthday meeting up session for Kelvin's 23rd birthday with the GV friends. although there's some GV friends i do not know, prolly because they joined after i resigned from GV, but it's okay, i can make friends easily xD
met up with Ginnette and Wen Jie after work, and we took train down to Orchard MRT to meet the rest of the friends! and the birthday boy reached first before the rest!

Ginnette, Wen Jie and me shared and bought him a bottle of "Metro Sexual Pills" for him. lol. that's something suited him the most xD haha. anyway, it was just some random sweets inside.
and we also bought a Marimo for him to take care of it. Kelvin even named his Marimo "Purple", such a gay name. i bet only he can think of it.

after waiting for an hour or so, Augusta and Edmund finally arrived. FINALLY!!~ we were all along waiting at one corner of the MRT station, like having some illegal gatherings. so once they arrived, quickly took a photo and left the place.

and next, we slowly strolled our way to Cineleisure to meet 2 more friends. but in between, we were still hunting on where to have our dinner at? so we hunt as we walk, until we reached Cineleisure and we still have no idea where and what to eat!
oh well, Heyr and Irshad finally joined us. yeah.. new friends made!!! since there's nothing much we wanted to eat at Cineleisure, we headed off to *SCAPE!! and it's certainly a YOUTH kind of hang-out places, and i love being there, because it made me so youthful xD
back to our long-waiting-decision dinner.. it was a tough battle between Sakae Sushi or White Dog Café. some wanted this, some wanted that. and lastly, the winner goes to..........

i am okay with both, but majority of my votes will go to White Dog Café because i never eat there before. first time trying and the atmosphere here looked good xD hopefully the foods taste good as well!!

i ordered Seafood Medley - a union of fresh prawns, squid and half-shelled mussels set atop a bed of pasta tossed with our savoury seafood sauce.
wow, the sight of prawns made me go drooling. i donated my mussels to Heyr and Wen Jie because i couldn't bring myself to eat that =S
