yes, very soon our little boy in our group is going to serve the nation. just 2 more days before he enlist, we decided to gather one last night together, in celebration of our little boy becoming a real man hahahaha.
started off with dinner at Aston's and then desserts at Cafe Cartel. looks like Cafe Cartel has become our favourite hangout place after 9pm. it's all because of their 50% discount after 9pm. hahah.

and then, we made our way to Plaza Singapura to meet Ting Yu. Cafe Cartel to chill-out, and also to secretly eat the muffins and Kueh Lapis which Edmund bought from Batam.
well, in the end i think only Edmund, Ting Yu and Shun An ordered desserts from Cafe Cartel, the rest are still full from the dinner at Aston's.

have you ever tried before a burger x2 size of your head? hahaha. yeahh, we went to tried it over at Causeway Bay HK Cafe, it was said to be shared with 6 people, and that burger itself costs $49.90. yea, so why not to try it. imagine a burger that needs 6 people to eat it, it must be very huge!!!.

oh yea, it was a sudden decision that all of us took part in the New Moon Big Walk 2010. Lisa happened to see their website, and so Audrey, Daphne, Ginnette, Lisa and me decided to go for it. made a payment of $25 each a few weeks ago.. and finally, today was the goodie bag collection date xD
made our way all the way down to The Central. the booth was set up nicely there for us to collect our goodie bag xD
presented them our IC and here we got our goodie bags xD weee!~ so excited!! first time self-volunteered to join this kind of event to help raise funds!~

oh well. goodie bags were collected, and we were fully ready for our New Moon Big Walk on the 1st of August, heh!~ took a group picture together before Ginnette went off to meet her friend, while the rest of us went to Teo Heng Karaoke at Katong for our KTV session that we craved for long.
thank god we made reservation beforehand. if not, we don't need to sing already, all the rooms were fully booked!~ we booked to sing from 3pm to 7pm. wonderful 4 hours of singing.
and we left at around 7pm after singing for dinner. we had a sudden crave for cereal prawn all of a sudden while singing, and so we decided that WE SHOULD EAT CEREAL PRAWN tonight. so we walked round and round Katong to look for cereal prawn, but couldn't find it =/
after half an hour or so, we gave up totally as we were all famished! lol, and we were complaining who the hell was the one mentioning cereal prawn in the first place?! yeah that person made everyone craving for it =P (oh well, the person was no other, BUT ME xD) hahahaha.
anyway, we decided to eat Katong Laksa which had all along been using it's fragrant smell to lure us in to the shop.

and i only had $5 left after singing. so after buying $3.50 laksa and $1.30 Ice Passionfruit Tea. i'm pathetically only left with 20 cents. haha.
Katong Laksa tasted so heavenly delicious. there's prawns inside... although it wasn't our cereal prawn...... but nevermind, the normal prawn shall replaced our cereal prawn for the time being!~ lol. Audrey's level of spicyness was so weak, she never add any chilli, but she was already perspiring and spitting fire while eating. haha.
after dinner, we took bus 36 back to Marina.. while on the bus, i suddenly blurted out that i felt like eating cheesecake (oh well, me and my mouth again...). and here's when the jokes began. we were still in the midst of discussing in the bus whether to go anot, but our dear Audrey didn't give any warning and just pressed the bell. lol.
so sudden, and so we have to or.... force to alight the bus. lol. while walking towards Millenia Walk, all of a sudden i remembered i only left with 20 cents. LOL!~ i was like, "eh, you all never asked me whether i got money anot? i only left with 20 cents sia!!" oops!!~
went to withdraw money and off we go to the directory to look for a nice chill out place.. and yes, final decision, we decided to go The Coffee Club for desserts!!!

Lisa ordered Mud Pie, Audrey ordered Tiramisu while i ordered Oreo Cheesecake @ $6. well, it was just to satisfy my taste bud. i couldn't finished my cheesecake, so Audrey and Lisa were forced to finish it for me =X
well, Audrey is forever the one who finished up my unfinished foods =x. poor her!~
