Food hunt @ Old Airport Road
Written at Saturday, March 24, 2012 | back to top

a meet up for the sake of Edmund. yes, his very first book out ever since he enlisted 2 weeks ago, and he can't wait to meet all of us. haha. he looked super tanned, anyway he's already very tanned in the first place, plus this 2 weeks of training.. it's like an add-on, to darken his colour, laughs. VERY BLACK! hahah.

meet at Dakota station, and we made our way to the Old Airport Hawker Centre, well just a walkable distance. the place looks kind of familiar, like i have been there before. but then, i don't really remember i went to Old Airport market in the past. rawrr, how contradicting!! forget it.

the foods we shared!

seems like all the good and delicious foods can be found at Old Airport market. but the only problem is, those popular, delicious, famous foods which appeared on tv or newspaper or magazine, their queue is ridiculously LONG! how am i going to queue for it?!

well, the only super long queue stall which we went to queue for was the Lao Ban Beancurd. haha. Ting Yu and Xue Ni went to queue for it, for a solid 30 minutes. i have never eaten that before, heard that it's a very popular beancurd.

while waiting for Ting Yu and Xue Ni to come back

LAO BAN BEANCURD!

well, since it is so famous, and with the queue to guarantee that it's worth the buy. i decided to buy 4 bowls back home for my family. and ended up everyone each dapao a few bowls back. hahaha, total we bought 20 bowls of beancurd, with 4 bowls to be eaten on the spot, and the rest is to buy back home one lol.

and yea, after that we decided to train down back to Bugis, and to play at Iluma's arcade. kind of troublesome, to carry 4 bowls of beancurd and walked around. it was heavy though, like having a burden with me.

at Iluma yo!

stood outside the lift waiting area and spammed pictures, seriously!
