whee! attended Subordinate Courts Dinner & Dance at Sheraton Towers, but i found it abit weird that they hold the event on a Friday's night!! it's like we have to rush down to the place after work?! and what about those people who have night court on that day? those who need time to dress themselves up?
anyway, none of my business because it just happened to be the day i'm clearing my annual leave. haha. i applied my leave like 1 month ago, not deliberately applied it for D&D. haha have to admit that it just doesn't have the power to make me purposely went to apply leave for it. all i can say is... pure coincidence xD
shats! i'm terribly late even though i have no work. damn! damn the stupid bus 143 i took, i didn't know 143 really bring me merry-go-round Orchard area before reaching Newton bus stop, i should have taken bus 5 in the first place =/
i myself already late in the first place, and the bus made me even more later!!
meet Fiona at the bus stop, and then Lisa and Xue Li at the lobby before making our way up to the grand hall at level 2. i immediate siam myself when i saw the sight of Bala =X we settled down at table 12, with my bunch of Family Court friends xD

i heard from someone that the D&D is actually a combination of Supreme Courts and Subordinate Courts staffs. like wow!~
at the beginning of the event, it was pretty boring, and the atmosphere was kind of dead. there's no host on the stage, no music... or is there any? i don't really remember!! it's like the food came, you eat... then after that... wait for the empty plates to be cleared.. and then wait for the next food to be served.... and this went on for like until the 3rd or 4th dish, then the host for the night finally appeared on stage... finally!

it's getting kind of bored inside, so we went outside to meet some other friends. i called Ginnette and Yvonne out as well, to have some photos taken together with them xD

alright, after the rest of the people went for their toilet break and so on, Ginnette, Yvonne and me started to get more high, we set the camera on timer mode, and started spamming like mad. imagine we did all these kind of pose with many people walking in and out...
we started off with just the 3 of us...
and soon, Albert joined in the photo spamming session with us. he looked so super funny inside the photos lol! serious working people can be real open in reality!! haha
we started to "crawl" nearer and nearer to the camera!
and then 2 more colleagues joined us as well.

well, after spamming so many photos, we finally went back in to the hall, the host was really one funny guy who can really bring up the atmosphere to it's peak. i laughed till my stomach cramp throughout the dancing part.
especially the part when indian people sings chinese song.. chinese people sings malay/tamil song, alongside with some chinese/malay/indian/bollywood dance?! hahah
some staffs went up on stage to bring some laughter to the audiences!
i truly enjoyed the Dinner & Dance, minus away the beginning boring part, it would be an awesome night. and damn the lucky draw, top 20 i got none... even the 270 consolation prize, i also got none!! like what the, got so unlucky anot?! they were giving out TWO HUNDREN AND SEVENTY consolation prize... and not even the last one for me =/
guess i were never lucky to win any lucky draw =S
waited for Ginnette to collect her 70th prize, and i left home with her.
