SubCt Cohesion Day @ USS

the only thing good about working at Subordinate Courts is that there's always cohesion day every year.

this year our cohesion day will be at Universal Studios Singapore. how cool, isn't it? i have never been there before due to the super expensive ticket, and now i got to go there for free ^^

the whole entire staffs in Subct were split up into 4 to 5 Saturday groups to go for their each and individual slots. mine was supposed to be on the 30th April, but i exchanged it with Pei Jie as most of my friends were in today's slot! hahaha.

first of all, meet Ginnette and Ken first at HarbourFront McDonald's. after having breakfast, we made our way to the meeting place outside the USS entrance through the Sentosa Boardwalk!

it was said that we have to meet our division people first to take a group photo before going on our own. our division/department people have so much bonding loh. all were in their group colour. Crime Registry in red, Family Courts in green, SCT in blue... and our CCSD was all in random mixture of colour, so not nice!

after the big group photo and so on, Ken and me managed to sneak away from our CCSD group and went to look for Fiona, Ginnette and Yvonne. yeah, like i say, young people should stay with young people. there's so many exciting and thrilling rides, of course must enjoy to the max with my young young friends xD

Ken and me found them and we went for our first ride at Madagascar, a very slow and boring ride indeed! more suitable for children. haha.

and after that, we went to queue for Shrek 4D movie, it was a interesting and fun ride with those funny ticklish things attacking your legs and water which sprinkle out to our face.

anyway, the most interesting part was after the movie when we proceeded out to the Shrek souvenirs shop and we started grabbing those cushion and play with.

the most funny part was Ken is the tallest among all of us, and we deliberately make him the youngest daughter. so gay!! lols!~

next, we went to Donkey Live, seriously i have to agree that was one of the most boring attraction in USS. the main purpose is to look for Edmund who is working at that attraction. but we didn't manage to see him at the entrance point as his friend said he went for lunch break.

nothing much interesting inside, just that the Donkey kept talking and singing. haha. like talking nonsense. and when we exited from the place, yeahhhh, we saw Edmund!!!! we finally met him ^^

next up was one of the exciting ride, Jurassic Park. absolutely love this bumpy boat ride. hah, it was said that certain seat won't get wet, depends on our luck actually. there's 9 seats in one boat, and there's actually 3 guys in our boat who wrapped themselves up with poncho, while the rest of us besides Fiona, got no poncho at all. all were prepared to get wet.

and when the boat dropped and water splashed over all of us, the only 3 who didn't get wet were the 3 who wrapped themselves up with poncho! hahahah. how lucky are they, and how unlucky are we?! lol

and once we were out of the boat, we bumped into Raymond, the manager here. he was our ex-GV manager, and he gave us an express pass for the rides here, so that we do not need to queue anymore ^^

next up, the Waterworld to see water stunt. it was a very up-to-standard live show. it was so real that the female lead actually really injured herself at the near end of the show. it was only when the medic came out with stretcher then we realised that injured part wasn't part of the show. it was for real!

this was also the last attraction Ken went to, after that he left early as his girlfriend was not feeling well. aww, what a waste. he hasn't even try the newly opened ride, Battlestar Galactica!!!!

and so, after Ken left, we all proceeded over to The Mummy ride. since the ride was incredibly long, we decided to use the express pass for this ride, meaning we do not need to queue at all. immediately enter through the express passageway and up on the ride, ready to experience the thrill indoor ride in total darkness.

woah, it was one of the best ride ever. i love how the ride came to a dead end, and all of a sudden it just dropped backward! hahaha.. so exciting!!

my most anticipated ride ever, Battlestar Galactica - Human and Cylon. we tried the Human ride first, Fiona insisted to just sit down and look after our belongings as she was totally traumatised by the Mummy ride previously! haha.

i'm looking forward for the Cylon ride :D

well, after the ride, Ginnette decided to give up playing the Cylon ride as the Human ride was too much for her to take it. we rested for awhile before going off to some other places first.

Lights Camera Action! was next. this was truly awesome. one minute it was a quiet and peaceful room, and the next minute it can changed into a total destroyed place. hah, wonderful job, people. i'm impressed!!!

well, that was enough of rest. while Ginnette still decided not to take the ride, Yvonne and decided to go for it, my long awaited Cylon Ride ^^. the queue was very short since it was near to 5pm already, people are getting lesser and lesser.

and the 2 of us just went for it. so nervous, much more nervous than before. it was said this was much more thrilled than the Human Ride. it has like 3 of the turning loops, so interesting. and seriously, Cylon is so much more fun than Human. i was amazed with it xD

and for those who go USS, Battlestar Galactica was a MUST PLAY roller coaster!!!!

after the ride, we joined back Fiona and Ginnette. we decided to stop playing all the rides and just focus on more pictures there. it was like, this is a really good place to take pictures together, so why not?! and we started spamming.......

and it was so last minute that we decided to go for Monster show since we were just in time for the last available slot. so just went in to see those musical show, pretty nice actually.

and it was so coincidence that we bumped into Misrah as well. Monster was where her workstation, and it was also her second last day working in USS. and we actually decided to meet for dinner together with Edmund after their working shift ^^.

and back to the USS souvenirs shop since we were each given $20 USS voucher from Subct. don't really know what to buy, i randomly bought an USS t-shirt at $23.90. i just need to top up $3.90 more in cash :)

we walked back to Vivo City through Sentosa Boardwalk, and to Banquet food court at the basement for dinner. it was the most easy place for Misrah as it was all halal. haha

and i just came to realise that we totally didn't eat anything besides the breakfast in the morning. we played until we forgot about our lunch. no wonder we were so hungry!
