Behind The Scene: Eisha's present

finally, the making of Eisha's belated birthday present. i think our clique has this very good habit of besides buying a birthday present, we also must DIY something for each of the members =D

this time round, not all Feriae members were able to make it for the DIY process. and so only Audrey, Ginnette, Joshua, Moo, Xue Ni and me were managed to squeeze out that tiny little time after work to meet up at Funan IT Mall's KFC. we had our dinner at KFC and afterwhich, it was 'time for DIY' =D

we knew that Eisha love to sketch and draw. so this time round, we decided to everybody all draw something for her. each of us were given one plain card, and started scratching head to think of what to draw for her. haha.

i couldn't think of what to draw, so i just borrowed Xue Ni's cute little diary which has lots of cute picture inside. and i just anyhow choose a picture and draw it out =D

haha almost there. just have to fill up the empty space there

too lazy to write message. just a simple "happy birthday" will do xD
DONE!~ presenting to you my final product!!!!

and not forgetting, the hardworks from the rest of my friends. looked like everyone can draw pretty well. haha. *applaud* and now, we just have to wait for the rest of the completed "picture card" drawn by the others who wasn't here today. combined everything together, and this would be our completed set of DIY sketch book for Eisha to continue sketching inside, because it's like a booklet, there's still alot of empty pages for her to draw whatever she likes :D

anyway, Joshua and Xue Ni left early. so there's only left the 4 of us doing the finishing and clearing of the tables. it was in a complete mess, hah. and lastly, a group picture with our hardworks before we left the place.

Behind the Scene: Ginnette's present

the making of Ginnette's present.. Moo volunteered to borrow his house to us for today. lol. i meet up with Joshua and Moo earlier at Bukit Panjang Plaza for lunch, and then waited for Audrey and Xue Ni to arrive at around 3pm.

they really took their own sweet time to come, so when they finally reached, we took LRT to Moo's house. yay

and then, we have to start our DIY project. we took out all the required materials, and then start work! it really required alot of DIY work, we were starting everything from the scratch. from measuring, cutting, hooking, arranging, tying, screwing, gluing, etc. and this was just the primary steps.

lol. Xue Ni and me were pretty lazy. we stared blankly and do nothing. okay, before the guys complain, we went to dig something for ourselves to do. oh well, i'm more interested in the decorating part than then technical part.

so i went to do designing on the board and prepared colourful paper for everyone to write their message on it. and it was pretty funny that those stickers alphabets only left with very limited alphabets because the stickers were passed down after using for so many people. and i needed 2 "A" for the work "Akira".

and so, i made use of the alphabet "V" and i cut the tail out from "T", and i squeezed the tail into the middle of "V"..... and i created a new "A". hahaha.

and after a few hours of hardwork, at least we saw something coming out. but Xue Ni have to leave early, so we quickly started on the message writing part, let her finished writing the message, and off she go to meet her friend at City Hall.

oh well, she left Moo's house at 4.20pm when she was supposed to meet her friend at 4.30pm! and she's damn power with her blurness. she lost her way while walking to the bus stop, lol.

i was happily lying on the ground, under the bed!!! and when i'm about to come out, i let my leg come out first, and not knowing the hot glue beside me was still in switch on mode, i let my whole leg lie on top of it, and it burned me like hell!!!

lol. JOSHUA, U OWE ME ONE!!!! made me got "bubble leg" hahaha. he said that he left the hot glue on for it to cool down first. i was like.... shouldn't you switched off the power first, so that it can cool down? LOL!!~

hahaha. we were short of alot alphabets again.. so we cut the word from "happy birthday" to "hapi bdae". so super short form!!

now proceeding to the part II, attached wire to 2 chains. well, again this kind of hooking, attaching job we shall leave it for the guys! it's not that easy because the chains kept twisting and turning. Joshua and Moo did it until pretty pek chek!

and now proceeded to the finalising part. glued and attached the wire with those photos to the board. on top & below of the board. haha.

haha. Audrey and me started to get board when the guys were busy with the glue and stuffs. we started switching on the camera to timer mode and started taking pictures of ourselves xD

i think we were too obssessed in taking pictures that we did not even realise the whole bottle of glue leaked out all over the floor. shit lah, created such a stupid mess in the room and we had a hard time clearing the thick layer of glue on the floor.

when the glue was finally all cleared off, the floor tile was super sticky. Audrey and me have to help Moo to scrub his floor tile. lol. we were like some maid scrubbing that particular piece of floor tile. by the end of the day, that particular floor tile was so so so much shinny than the rest xD LOL

wooooh!! when we were busy scrubbing the floor, Joshua and Moo were working hard on the board.. and it was done the next minute!! hahaha.

whee! so tired after the long day of hardwork... not only working on the present, but also scrubbing of floor =X okay well, at least the project was a great success!!!

Behind The Scene: Daphne's present

met up with Audrey, Lisa and Shalee after work to make Daphne's birthday present. Audrey came all the way to our workplace and purposely waited for us, and then we walked to City Hall together.

we had a hard time deciding where to have our dinner at, was choosing between Soup and Spoon or Souperlicious. but we were dilly-dally and very fickle-minded, lol. and in the end, we went New York New York instead. LOL

at first, they only gave us a very small seat, right in the middle of walkway, and it's just a small square table for 4 of us =/ lol., but i think the manager overheard us talking and laughing over the small table, so he quickly asked his staffs to clear other table and let us have it xD So nice of him!!!

finally, we got a bigger and better seat, and we ordered Meat Platter to share together!!

we went over to Paper Market at Raffles Place and buy all the necessary decoration stuff. and then Audrey went to supermarket too look for chocolate for her friends. lol. we were walking hear and there, and there and here, we used up alot of time, and finally we settled ourselves at the McDonald's at 9.30pm =/

started working hard on the board, poured out all the ingredients that we had, and here we go!!!

Audrey and Lisa's opinion always clashed with each other and they started their "war". lol. so funny. Shalee and me just looked at them bombing each other's ideas and opinions.

haha. almost done. we were like so slack when working on the decorating part, but once we reached to the part that we have to design our own paper and write our personal message to the birthday girl, we did it so seriously xD lol.

anyway, the paper message represents ourself, of course must do it nicely xD
