Natas Fair | LingXiang 21st Birthday BBQ

finally, the long awaited days which we have been anticipating for - NATAS Fair. you know, we were all very stressful to see our surrounding friends, one by one, all had already booked their flight tickets for their vacation holidays. while us, we planned this Taiwan trip since last December, up till now we still haven't booked any single things yet.
and so, we decided that no matter what, this upcoming Natas Fair, we die-die must booked our tickets xD. on the day itself, Ginnette, Lisa and me meet up to go to the Natas Fair at Singapore Expo. Shalee will joined us shortly right after her Saturday duty.
anyway, we paid a $4 entrance fee, and then starting hunting up and down, left and right for the best and cheapest bargain. we walked around collecting brochure, information, etc.
time past pretty fast, it was almost 2pm and we have yet to find any great offer. we decided to go Texas Chicken to have our lunch, and slowly browsed through all the papers that we got from inside. Shalee came shortly after too.

after lunch, we went back into the hall. we asked alot of booth for free & easy package, but looked like the offer they gave us for free & easy was far more expensive than on package tour. so not worth it at all.
anyway, Ginnette had to leave early to meet her friend at Science Centre. so it was only left with Lisa, Shalee and me to make the final decision. at last, we found one package tour which the itinerary was far more better than the previous one. and so, heck and just go for it.

and after that, i actually have to straight away travel down from Singapore Expo to Hougang to meet my other friends to attend Jason's 21st Birthday BBQ. however, due to my super heavy bags, with lots of free gifts inside. i have no choice but to go home first.
and now, the exploring of part of Singapore starts now. took train from Singapore Expo to City Hall, bus back home, then bus from home to Harbourfront, and lastly took train from Harbourfront to Hougang.
i knew i'm going to be super late when i reached Hougang. i'm meeting the rest 5.30pm at Hougang Mall, but 5pm i'm still at City Hall waiting for bus home. anyway, i managed to meet the rest at 6pm, late for 30 minutes =S
and from there, Rui Feng led the way and we walked like 100 millions kilometer to reach the exact location. his house is really pretty far from the MRT station sia.

anyway, Danny and his girlfriend came late because they lost the way. lol. and we actually sent Rui Feng to fetch them which made them even more lost, because Rui Feng is blur too. haha
after the cake cutting, we were left on our own, find our own activities to do to kill time. like some homeless kids, we walked around the area from right to left and left to right twice, sat under the pavilion and talked nonsense, out to the children playground and rot there, sat under shelter and had some random talks.
we finally decided to leave the place at 11.45pm. Ivan took cab home, Rui Feng took direct bus from there, so it's only left with Kay Way, Royce, Sock and me. we took any bus which brought us back to Hougang Interchange, but still, we missed our last train. hoseh ah!!!! haha.
it's either cab home, or loiter around the place for one night. all of us chose to ton one night at Hougang. and so first, we head to the 24 hours NTUC there to get some mineral water. it's a super thirsty night. we walked aimlessly at Hougang and then someone suggest to go Punggol Park and ton there. so all ended up walking to Punggol Park lol.
cannot really remember what time we reached there, but it should be around 1am plus. we had some healthy walk in the middle of the night, and took a stroll one round of the park. it was a cold and windy night. shivering like mad.
we spent 4 hours plus at Punggol Park, waiting for daybreak. talking, playing, dozing off, making funny noise, entertaining one another. lol. and then suddenly turned violent with slice slice and scratch scratch. hahaha.
time past pretty slow, we left the place at around 4am plus, walked back to McDonald's at Hougang Mall for breakfast. and then slowly made our way back to the MRT station at around 5.30am, took the first train back to Dhoby Ghaut and transferred 124 back home.

another science centre trip. organised it because our dear Edmund have not been there since primary school. lol. soooo, it's all for you today =D
went together with Edmund, Ginnette, Joshua, Shun An, Xue Ni and 2 other friends who are unknown to me =X haha. but they did not join us to walk around.
anyway, got free entry because Joshua has member cards xD
doing the "Da Lang Dance" xD
this wasn't my first time exploring the Science Centre, so i will not elaborate much on those exhibit. and ya, Sound Exhibit was something new to me.
i liked the 3 little pig story where Edmund, Shun An and me were trying our best to add in some sound effect to the story. we did not know it was sound recorded, so at the end of the story, Edmund and me were singing so loudly. and we were OMG-ed when we went out the room, and realised whatever sound we made inside was recorded. lol
replayed the story. and heard our wonderful singing! haha. but the sound effect like "knocking door", "footstep", etc was pretty funny because our version of knocking door sound become knocking pot, footstep sound become playing drum!!
okay, enough of Sound. let's proceed to other exhibit.
and i liked this....
Haya and Linnet were still working there. and just nice both were working that day. went out to look for them when Ginnette told me she saw Linnet. because they complained that i no "
heart", come Science Centre also never looked for them =X and now, I DID!!!!!
and now, NEXT PLEASE!!!
we meet back to the central hall again at around 3pm to see LIVE experiment.
the part when the balloon went BOOM was so cool~
and NEXT. shadow time.
i remembered we gathered down there. besides playing with our shadow, we also ended up doing yoga there! haha. stretching and bending. lol. and there's camera on top, OOPS!!
went Eco-Garden next. that was where primary school always brought us to.
Edmund was so eager to play with the machine that can show him how he will look like when he was old. we went to try it after completing the Eco-garden part. Ginnette managed to find her
hulu.anyway, i did not try the machine. i do not want to see and i do not dare to look at it. must be some horrible looking old woman! so didn't try it =D
and so, we end the day finally.
was so tired!~
and lastly, x'mas gift. a lollipop keychain made by Xue Ni. so nice of her!~ THANK YOU ^.^Y

Birthday Celebration #4
another birthday celebration. this time round my secondary school cliques celebrated Wai Keong and mine 21st Birthday.
i meet up with Daphne first, and we went to Kaplan Open House as Daphne wanted to enquire about some Degree course. we were pretty lost where to find the Kaplan school, but Daphne had save a map into her phone, so we were like some tourists, looking at the map to find the exact location.
anyway, we found it. it's somewhere near Orchard Central. we took less than 10 minutes to get all the details about the course, hah. and then with so much time left, we decided to go Orchard Central for a walk, since both of us have never been there before =X.

haha. walked around to kill time as the rest were meeting at 2pm at Plaza Singapura. and then finally received a call from Lisa that that had already reached. quickly made our way there, walked a super long distance to PS.
after meeting all the rest, we walked to Parklane, and had our lunch at Mad Jack. it was so fun to reunite with all my friends, especially some long-time-no-see friends, like Fazillah and Matthew. Fazillah was always so busy that we couldn't even meet out at all.
and all the joy we had that afternoon. making fun of Fazillah. Oops =X

the rest went off, while Daphne, Lisa, Fazillah, Ginnette, Guang Hao and me left wandering around Parklane, Pomo Centre. walked around first before making our way to Bugis Junction and continue shopping to kill time. everyone had something on next.
Daphne meeting her friends, Ginnette going Changi Beach to see meteors on the Geminids Night, while Lisa and me have to go for Abi's 21st Birthday celebration next.
and i shall continue Abi's 21st Birthday on my next post xD. anyway, it's gonna be a short one next. cya!~

Birthday Celebration #3
rushed down to East Coast Park after work for Ginnette's family BBQ. i went down with Xue Ni, as the rest were already there since afternoon.
i was quite late as i went home first, and so we reached there at around 8.20pm.
i was so hungry while on the bus to ECP. and Xue Ni was influenced by me, and she got hungry as well.
and they never left any sausage for me T_T, but luckily there's still nuggets left. haha.
we were chatting happily, when suddenly Edmund dragged me away to the beach, i thought got gossips to hear, quickly grabbed Ginnette and pull her there together. lol
took some photos at the big big rock where we were standing.
but the actual fact of puling me away is to let the rest prepare the birthday cake, and light the candles.
received a call and we were being called back to the pit.
when i ran back to the pit, everyone surprised me by singing a birthday song for me xD. heh, so surprised, it was supposed to be Ginnette's family BBQ, but at the later part of the day became my birthday celebration =X
received a present from Shun An. he wrapped with so many layer of newspaper, boxes and papers. when i finally saw a wallet box, i thought he gave me a wallet, but it was just an empty box stuffed with paper. continued tearing the paper, layer by layer, and at last... a rose made by him.
kudos to him lah. such a small little rose, he can wrapped until so exerggerating. lol. only mr Chua Shun An can do that!!
and next, another gifts by them. a sling bag which i'm currently lacked of. so surprised that Ginnette still remember me saying that i doesn't have a sling bag during our Batam trips =D
and then, a scrapbook made by Shun An. he pasted so many of my unglam photos inside, the picture at the cover page was auntie enough already =S.
but inside there's full of memories. memories of wonderful GV days, Epsilon's outing, movie day, night tour, hunting and making for props, treetop walk, cosplay preparation, etc.

finally, i've got a key for myself..

Ginnette's father drove us back home with his van. we were happily talking and laughing, when suddenly i have the urge to touch my pocket to look for my handphone.
and yah, I LOST IT. we were already on the road somewhere near Singapore Flyer, Ginnette's papa have to U-turn and drive back to ECP. felt so guilty about it =S
and then when we were back at the ECP, we started the hunt for my phone. luckily we managed to find it back. it was facing upward, so when Xue Ni kept calling my phone, i saw some blink blink lights coming from the dark dark grass.
phew!~ i was pretty lucky. i dropped my phone for 2 hours plus, and no one picked it up. heng!~
