it's not a random outings, we came here for a purpose, supposedly to come here for rollerblading, and in celebration for Eisha's belated birthday. however, the sky doesn't really support our idea, and it rained the whole day.
for me, i was on Saturday duty that particular day, exchanged with someone's Saturday so i had to work for him this week. after work, i straight away went down to East Coast Park from workplace, it was already raining heavily at Chinatown when i left, i was praying hard that the rain won't reach ECP, pleaseeee...
board train at Chinatown, alighted at Outram, transferred to green line, alighted at Eunos, transferred bus to Parkway, walked a few distance, down the underpass and i reached East Coast Park, like finally. so troublesome that i have to transfer here and there, go up and down, in and out the train and bus. lol
reached ECP McDonald's and meet the rest finally.
before i came
HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY, EISHA!!!
we had our lunch at McDonald's first, and next was the presenting of birthday present and our self made DIY booklet to our birthday girl. not to waste anymore time, we proceeded out for rental of Rollerblade. but it started to drizzle.... it's a warning sign that the rain from Chinatown has reached East Coast Park. DAMN!!!
and so, we took a few shots of group photo before Eisha left for home, while the rest of us remained here, waiting and hoping for the rain to stop.
cool one, let's frame it up xD
little drizzle....
when we made our way to the rental shop, the rain got heavier and heavier. we ran all the way to Burger King to seek shelter, sit down there waiting for the rain to stop. and in the meantime, we also started to brainstorm for our next overseas trip together, hopefully before Joshua fly off to Australia to study.
the rain just got heavier and heavier. we waited close to 2 hours when we see the rain got smaller, however the rental shop refused to rent Rollerblade to us due to the unforeseen weather. bicycle is okay, but not Rollerblade.
sighh, so we were left with no choice, but to leave the place in disappointment, and postpone our rollerblading event to some other times then. hopefully, the postponed date will have more people joining us xD
big big droplet of water...
umbrella MUST be out!!!!
we walked from East Coast Park to Parkway Parade, hunting for a place to have dinner. ended up at arcade playing. lol. i with my basketball game again. yes, trying to boost up my aiming skills. i guess i saw slight improvement hahaha.
yossshh.. my solo score of 219
and then, i got a sudden crave for KOI, we knew that there's one outlet at Parkway Parade, it's just that we have no idea where was it located at. Audrey started using her phone to check the exact location of it and that's the start for the hunt of KOI Cafe. lol
after walking round and round the place, KOI was finally spotted!!! what a long queue, but still.. we queue for it xD and after KOI was bought, we decided to have dinner at the hawker centre next to it. not buying one full meal for ourself, we chose to randomly buy small small foods and shared together.
and here it was, our spread of foods: Chicken Wing, Satay, Rojak, Chee Cheong Fun, Prawn Dumpling and Xiao Long Pau.
table of foods!
let's feast ourselves!!!!
small small foods, yet we can eat until so full. the food was not bad, i couldn't remember how much, but it's probable less than $6 per person. quite a good bargain, you paid $6 and you can eat so many different foods. haha. not that bad ah?!
toilet mirror..
looked at the moon :D
it was said that today is the day where the moon is nearest to the earth!!!!! is it a good sign, or a bad sign?!

let me show you what will a middle-age woman be doing when she suddenly met her friend while on the way to the market.
they will start their auntie's nature character and start
gossiping chit-chatting. talked and talked and talked and talked non-stop.
they can talked anywhere, everywhere....

even by the roadside!!!
hahaha. and the one in pink is my mother. i know she doesn't looked tall, that's why i am not tall either. she made me stand down there and wait for her for so long. grrr..~
well. 阿嫂本色. forget about her...
and so, Lisa had started doing research for the Batam trip that we planned to go at the end of October. she printed such a thick sets of her research and showed it to me during work. kudos to her. haha. i'm a bad reseacher, so i shall be the one waiting for everything to be done. haha. becoming a 花瓶 again, oops =X
looked like this time round was completely ALL GIRLS' TRIP because by the time guys would most probably one-by-one enlisted already. XD
